Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to Siemens Security for security cameras at Lackland AFB, This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation This procurement is being issued as a SOLE SOURCE requirement. The purpose of this sole source requirement is to purchase updated cameras to match the DVR systems already installed by Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and DFARS change notice 20060814, North American Industry Classification System Code 561621 for this procurement.
