- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB is issuing a special notice to acquire shop drawings, rearrange old Herman Miller Furninture and reinstall it along with the new purchased Herman Miller furniture per shop drawings and specifications as well as 25 Aeron Chairs. Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, materials, services, and transportation tools needed to move/remove parts if needed. Work will be performed IAW the Statment of Work (SOW). Note: For an offer to be acceptable, the contractor must be able to furnish Herman Miller Action Office 2(AO2) furniture that will match the existing furniture. Location/Delivery will be FOB Destination, Building 856 Rooms: 102, 116, 201, and 202 of Gunter AFB (Montgomery), Alabama. All interested offerers; Section 8a, Hubzone, Service Disabled Veteran, Woman Owned, GSA, Small Business and Large Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 337214 with a size standard of 500 employees. A Site Visit will be conducted on 13 Sep 2006 at 0900. Intersted vendors will design and propose the layout that best fits the end user needs. A formal solicitation will not be issued until after the site visit. Interested vendors must reply to this notice NO LATER THAN 12:00PM, CST, 12 Sep 2006 via email. All prospective vendors will be responsible for checking FBO to obtain the solicitation, amendment or any ther information pertaining to this requirement. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Vendors not registered with Central Contractor Registration are ineligible for award. Vendors may register at http://www.ccr.gov/. 2.
