This effort includes the non-recurring engineering design, integration, test, validation and verification, and production of a CACCS system for the CH-53D/E and MH-53E aircraft. The term of the contract is anticipated to be five years with base contract line item numbers (CLINs) and option CLINs with performance commencing approximately January 2007. The standard industrial code for this requirement is 3728. This requirement will be a full and open competition identified under NAICS code 336413. The DRAFT solicitation neither implies nor requests the commencement of any effort and shall not be construed as an obligation or commitment on behalf of the Government. In addition, the Government shall incur no obligation resulting from this request. Based on responses submitted by industry, the Government may or may not elect to facilitate an Industry Day. The Government anticipates release of a final solicitation sometime in the first quarter of FY07. The Government will post specific dates to the FedBizOps site as necassary.
