- Description
- FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadephia Office intends to procure centralized Call Center Appointing and Nurse Triage services for eligible beneficiaries at the Naval Hospital Corpus Christi, TX and their affiliated Naval Branch Health Clinics, i.e. Ft. Worth, Ingleside, and Kingsville, TX. The required services will be procured on a 100% Small Business Set Aside basis. Call Appointing services are required 11 hours a day, Monday through Saturday, and Federal holidays between the hours of 0700 and 1800. The contractor will not be required to provide Call Appointing service on New Years Day, Christmas Day, and Thanksgiving. Nurse Triage services are required 9 hours a day, Monday through Friday between the hours of 0900 and 1800, and 9 hours on Sundays between the hours of 0700 and 1600. The contractor will not be required to provide Nurse Triage services on Saturdays and Federal holidays. The Services shall meet the guidelines for TRICARE/DoD access standards. The volume of calls is approximately 2400 per week. (i.e. 476 per weekday, 20 per weekend days). It is anticipated that the estimated volume of calls from beneficiaries seeking Nurse Triage service will be approximately 10% of the total calls received by the Call Center. The Government will furnish the buildings/areas (facilities) and the Call appointing area will be provided with appropriate workstation furniture. The appointment center is located on the third floor of the MTF. The Government will provide the MTF's Automated Call Distribution (ACD) System, including headsets, for use by the Contractor in providing appointment/consult control services. The Contractor shall furnish a current triage program, i.e., McKesson CareEnhance Call Center, version 3.5 or higher, or an equivalency. Program shall interface with CHCS and AHLTA or such provisions shall be made to ensure triage information is accurately entered into the CHCS and AHLTA systems. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 test program procedures and will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The resultant contract will provide for a base period of performance comprised of one (1) year, commencing on or around 01 December 2006, along with four (4) one-year option provisions to extend the term of the contract through 30 November 2011. The solicitation will require the submission of price and technical offers. The evaluation of offers will consider offerors' technical offer more important than price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size standard are 561110 and $6.5 Million, respectively.
