Description

This solicitation is amended as follows: In order to have a more accurate bid on the AMX NI-3000 NETLINX Integrated Controllers (FG2105-02) it needs to also include: 1. 12 inch Modero Touch Panel, LCD 2. Power Supply 3. Volume Control Card & Net Module Shell 4. RS232 Cables as required 5. IR Cables as required 6. Programming of Touch Panel for usage in VTC or Conference, using MSIC provided DIGITAL IMAGES of page layouts to match the MSIC VTC operations. 7. On-site installation, coordination, checkout and training... Also, the contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1. provide a design of equipment and their integration for acceptance of design 2. Install and integrate the above with the equipment set forth below 3. Provide wiring diagram of completed equipment installation 4. Test all equipment for accuracy of performance 5. Train the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on operations of all equipment All new equipment must be compatible with the following equipment: Extron VGA/Audio Switcher SW6 VGA/ARS, Extron VGA/Audio Distribution Amplifier P/2 DA2Xi MT, Extron Audio Mixer MIX301, Crown Audio Amplifier D75A, KSI Speakers 8081-CS-FR, Tandberg Codec 6000MXP, Tandberg Natural Presenter Package. All work /installation must be completed not later than 60 days from the date of availability of the conference room. Estimated date of availability for work to begin is 01 Oct 2006. MSIC has the requirement to design and install new audio/visual equipment into a new conference room at the Missile & Space Intelligence Center. A list of the required equipment follows: one each NEC 61' Plasma (model PX-61XM4A), one each Chief Wall Mount Kit (PSM-2043), one each Smarttouch interactive overlay (PN-361B), two each Extron laptop interface units (HSA200C), one each Extron 8-input scaling (IN1508), one each Tandberg 768kbps Bandwidth upgrade, two each Sony cameras (EVI D100), two each Shure Table Microphones, one each Extron Video/Audio DA (MDA 3AV), one each Extron SVHS DA (MDA 3SV), one each Sony VCR/DVD Player, one each Elmo Document Camera (7100SX), two each AMX NI-3000 Netlinx Integrated Controllers (FG2105-02). Proposal must include installation services and all associated miscellaneous parts and cables to complete installation into the new conference room. Personnel performing the installation must have a current Top-Secret/Specialized Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) Government security clearance. Award will be pursuant to FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. FAR Clauses 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items) and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items) will apply to this acquisition. MSIC intends to award this effort to Techni-Core Inc. of Huntsville, AL. since they are the only known local contractor that possesses the required expertise and personnel with the required security clearances. However, proposals from any qualified and interested parties will be considered. Proposals must reach this office not later than 4:00 p.m. CST on 11 Sep 2006.
