Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement will use the test procedures described in FAR Subpart 13.5. Solicitation PR-NC-06-10810 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07 effective August 4, 2006. This procurement is restricted to service-disabled, veteran-owned businesses, as a competitive set-aside. Only responses from responsible sources that are classified as service-disabled, veteran-owned businesses will be considered. See Attachment entitled "PR-NC-06-10810 Interior Plantscaping Instructions to Quoters / General Requirements." The NAICS Code is 561730, Landscaping Services. The scope of work includes: 1. Installation of plants at the Human Studies Facility, Chapel Hill, NC and Maintenance of plants at the Human Studies Facility, Chapel Hill, NC; the RTP Campus, Research Triangle Park, NC; and the NHEERL Building, 2525 Highway 54, Durham, NC. See Attachment entitled "PR-NC-06-10810 Interior Plantscaping Statement of Work." This requirement is Firm Fixed Priced including the following CLINS: A. CLIN 0001- Installation of Plants at the Human Studies Facility, Chapel Hill, NC, B. CLIN 0002 (Base Period) - Interior Plantscaping Maintenance Services, C. CLIN 0003 (Option Period I) - Interior Plantscaping Maintenance Services, D. CLIN 0004 (Option Period II) - Interior Plantscaping Maintenance Services, E. CLIN 0005 (Option Period III) - Interior Plantscaping Maintenance Services, and F. CLIN 0006 (Option Period IV) - Interior Plantscaping Maintenance Services. See Attachment entitled "PR-NC-06-10810 Interior Plantscaping Price Schedule."
