- A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for NSN 4710-01-230-3040NZ P/N: 4066160-01, Tube Assy, This is a USAF Requirement for 459 EA CLIN 0001. Size: 1.0 inches thick by 40 inches wide by 30 inches long. Function: Provides high pressure air to the convergent exhaust nozzle control. Material: PEA 1069 OR 1072 Nickel Alloy. First Article Required Applicable to: F100/200/220 Engine Delivery 30Sep 2006. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 01 May 2006 . The anticipated award date will be 30 Jun 2006. Qualification requirements are not available for this Part Number. . Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Pratt & Whitney and EA Patton. Responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Potential offerors or sub contractors can obtain a copy of the solicitation from this FEDBIZOPS web site as soon as the Government has issued and posted the solicitation. Please note that the Government is not required to delay contract award in order to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. See Government-Wide Numbered Notes 23,22 and 26. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
