- The National Park Service, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, intends to award a sole source contract to Duncan Aviation, Las Vegas, Nevada. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This action includes the purchase and installation of a Wulfsberg P-2000 Tactical Radio with external antennas and removal of existing Wulfsberg RT9600 radio and associated electrical wiring, antennas and cabling. Duncan Aviation is considered to be the only responsible source capable of providing this equipment. Responsible sources may submit concise documentation for consideration regarding their ability to provide the required equipment. However, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
