Description

The National Naval Medical Center,(NNMC), Acquisition Mgmt. Dept., Bethesda, on behalf of the Ophthalmology Dept., intends to award a sole source procurement to AMO USA, INC. for #0030-3551-11 KEY CARD/LICENSES. (320 each) These cards are required to turn on the Laser to perform PRK and LASIK surgery. Each card does 10 eyes. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate w/only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP. "See Note 22"
