- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, PL8221, Scott AFB IL, intends to issue a sole source contract to Network Equipment Technologies, (N.E.T.) Federal, 21660 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 100, Dulles, VA, 20166, for an upgraded and extented warranty for recently purchased N.E.T. Federal SHOUT equipment. The equipment will be located at various sites worldwide. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract for an upgraded warranty with advance parts exchange and a two-year extended warranty with advance parts exchange. N.E.T. Federal is the only source that can provide this extended warranty on its equipment. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. North American Association Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) Code 811213, Telecommunication Maintenance Services, applies. See numbered note 22.
