- The USDA, APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service), NVSL (National Veterinary Sciences Lab) in Ames, IA, intends to procure a variety of security system supplies and installation services with a Lenel certified supplier of these products/services. The supplies and services will include access control points at doors, gates, freezers, etc. as well as cabinet locks and new panels in data closets. The USDA intends to award a Firm-fixed price commercial contract for this effort This will be a best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) AG-6395-S-06-0038, will be released on or about September 11, 2006 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. All responsible offers may submit an offer to the solicitation. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at this site.
