- Provide Urgent Laboratory and Imaging Services for beneficiaries of the VA Salt Lake CIty Health Care System for patients of the Pocatello Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located at 44 Hospital Way, Pocatello, Idaho. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials and facilities to provide laboratory and imaging procedures of x-rays that are of an urgent nature for patients of the Pocatello CBOC. Urgent procedures shall be interpreted immediately upon receiving the x-ray. The requesting physician shall be called with the results. High technology/high cost procedures (e.g.MRI, CT, and Angiography) will not be performed without prior approval from a Vetersns Affairs representative. The contract will run from November 1, 2006 through October 31, with four one year options to extend the term of the contract. The contract is an IDIQ contract. The contract will utilize simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Commercial Items Part 12, and in accordance with Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.
