- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2X3C26233A100 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR 13. The solicitation document and incorporation provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12, AFAC 2006-0515, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20060808. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 339920 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. CLIN 0001--1 Each, Gecko 180 Climbing System (or equivalent) with the following description: Hgt 10-35 ft.; Diameter 8 ft; 180 degree pinnacle (550 sq ft); 3 belay stations; auto and manual belay compatible; durable fiberglass panels and cast texture; T-nut for modular handholds at approximately 1 per sq ft. Access door for storage and maintenance; internal ladder; route setting tools and maintenance kit. One year warranty on all structures and texture. CLIN 0002--1 Each Shipping. These items are to be delivered to 351 E. Maxwell Blvd, Maxwell AFB, AL, 36112. Basis for Award: Award will be made to the lowest price offered who takes no exception to the specifications identified in CLIN 0001-0002. Interested vendors must quote on all items. Partial quotes will not be accepted. Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. Offerors responding to this requirement must include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications /Commercial Items (June 2006), DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications/Commercial Items (June 2005), and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-- Balance Payment Program Certificate (June 2005) with the quotation. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the Internet, https://farsite.hill.af.mil. FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999) applies to this solicitation.
