Description

Requirement is to store memorabilla items NTE 60,000 Pounds of 1CD and subordinate units equipment in private, secure storage facilities for period of performance extending from date of pick up for 12 months with an option period of 6 additional mont hs. Carrier must furnish all labor and materials to pack, load and transport items from 1CD and sub units at Fort Hood, TX 76544 to storage site. Packing days TBD and will be coordinated directly with contractor. Deliver and unpack stored items to 1CD a nd sub units as they return from deployment. NAICS code is 488991. The solicitation will be set-aside 100% for small business. Site visit TBD. POC: SSG Le Jeune at (254) 287-6136 OR MAJ. Jenkins at (254) 287-5574. The estimated start date will be 22 Septem ber 2006. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ), W91151-06-Q-0427, on or about 15 September 2006. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. Contractors must be registered in the Ce ntral Contractor Registration (CCR), accessed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must be registered with the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) in order to download copies of particular solicitations and be added to its mailing list.
