Description

This is a notice that the White Sands Missile Range Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to OPTIMUM OPTICAL SYSTEMS, INC., 4153 Calle Tesoro, Camarillo, CA 93012-8760 for two (2) TFOV MWIR Lens (Part #22396). Specifications as f ollows: 500mm-180mm-60mm, Entrance Pupil Diameter 125mm-45mm-15mm, F/Number 4.0-4.0-4.0, Distortion less than 2.5% - less than 2.5% - less than 2.5%, Image Format 14mm-14mm-14mm, Minimum Focus Range 30M-20M-10M, Transmission greater than 85% - greater th an 80% - greater than 80%, Special Band 3.5-5.0, MTF@16lp/mm(as designed) greater than 60%, MTF@lpmm(as built) greater than 50%, FOV Switch Time (sec) less than 0.75, FOV Bore Sight 1 Pixel, Operational Temperatures 32 to 60C, Command Interface RS232, Weight Approximately 22.5, Length 15.75, Dewar/Cold Stop Approximately 1 inch from FPA, Power Requirements 28VDC@400 Mill Amperes maximum, Focus & FOV Controllable via RS-232 Interface. Must be compatible with FLIR/Indigo systems Merlin (INSB) IR Camera. Due to these unique capabilities of this specific lens, it can only be acquired from Optimum Optical Systems, Inc. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Se rvices will Satisfy Agency Requirement.
