Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Numbered Note 1. hereaby applies. The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), Army Contracting Agency (ACA), Pentagon, is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure Ergonomically Fitted Office Chairs. This RFQ is a 100 percent set-aside for small busin ess. North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 337214. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government has a requirement to procure 80 Ergonomically Fitted Office Chairs that meet or exceed the specifications detail ed below. One-year replacement warranty is required. Detailed Specifications: Sum chair High Back/Adjustable Arms Standard cylinder hard tread dual wheel Color: Black Grade B Upholstery Fabric: Tria Color: Black Delivery: Price to include receiving and installation as separate item. Delivery must be NLT 15-days from the effective date of contract award and between the hours of 7:00a and 5:30p, Monday through Friday. Interested parties must submit descriptive lit erature, not more than five (5) pages; which must include pictures adequate enough for the Government to determine if the proposed product meets the minimum requirements identified above. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to this synopsis will be acceptable to the Government in terms of quality, appearance of product that are same or equal to the specifications, timely performance and at the lowest price. The RFQ will close Septe mber 14, 2006 @ 1p EST and an award soon thereafter. All offerors are required to submit an email copy of the quote to dionne.yelder@hqda.army.mil.
