Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is W912JM-06-R-0013. This is a firm fixed price contract for service contract. Scope of work is as follows: At right rear wall of telephone room, ins tall a unistrut and plywood backboard over existing boarded up window. On the new backboard, install the new 150 amp ATS and a new 42 circuit, 150 amp, 3 phase MLO circuit breaker panel. Outside, to the left of the existing generator room and behind the te lephone room, install a 6 concrete pad for the generator. Install a new 150 amp, 3 phase 4 wire feeder from Panel D in the mechanical room to the new ATS for the Normal Power supply. Install a 150 amp, 3 phase 4 wire feeder from the generator breaker to the new ATS for the Emergency Power supply. In addition, run a separate conduit from the ATS to the generator control panel for control circuits. Install a 120V, 20 amp circuit from the new circuit breaker panel to the genset for the block heater. (All conduits from the building to the generator to run underground and emerge through the slab under the generator) Install a 150 amp, 3 phase 4 wire feeder from the ATS Load terminals to the new MLO panel. Install approximately 15 120 volt, 20 amp dedicated circuits from the new circuit breaker panel to 20 amp duplex receptacles installed on the equipment racks and behind the server computers. Actual locations to be determined by customer. Install 2 120 volt, 40 amp circuits and receptacles for the phone sw itch. Reconnect the two air handling units and the two condensing units to the new circuit breaker panel. Reconnect existing telephone room lighting circuit to new circuit breaker panel. Coordinate downtime with the customer to switch over all power to t he new system. Provide a separate line item for disconnection and removal of all existing UPS equipment, panels, conduits and outlets from the phone room  leaving only the new installation. Disconnect natural gas supply to the two existing DC generators. Remove piping back to a point outside the generator room. Install a new cutoff valve and continue with new natural gas service piping to the new generator. Install genset vendor supplied r egular and flexible connection to complete the natural gas service. Factory startup & testing of generator Provide pre-cast concrete slab Include freight to site via boom truck Turnkey operation  complete electrical install Provide for disconnection and removal of all existing UPS equipment, panels, conduits and outlets from the Frame room, and leaving ONLY new installation. All work shall be warranted for 1 year from date completion. Site Visit is scheduled for of September 21, 2006.
