- This notice serves as a synopsis for the upcoming solicitation number W9126G-06-T-0210, for the purchase of Stump Grinding, Tree Removal, Tree Pruning, and Tree Maintenance services for Lake O The Pines (Jefferson, TX) and Wright Patman Lake (Texark ana, TX). Deliverables such as plans, work schedules and other requirements are called out in the official SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) that will be included in the forthcoming solicitation. Contractor is to provide all contract work force and equipment required t o perform specified Stump Grinding, Tree Removal, Tree Pruning, and Tree Maintenance Services. Contractors work and responsibility shall include, but not be limited to, all job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection and management necessary to accomplish the required specified IDIQ contract services. Contractor shall assure that all work is accomplished in accordance with the contract, all applicable laws, municipal codes, regulations and/or written directives issued by the Contrac ting Officer or his Representative. The proposed contract type is a firm-fixed price purchase order. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on BEST VALUE, with past performance being significantly more important than price . The Request for Quotation (RFQ) shall be available on or about 19 September 2006. The anticipated award date is 22 September. The solicitation is only available for download via the Federal Business Opportunities (fedbizopps.gov) website and at the Fede ral Technical Data Solutions website (www.fedteds.gov).
