Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Regents of the University of Colorado, 301 Regent Hall, Campus Box 17, Boulder, CO 80309-0017. This purchase order is an extension of contract 04PG303202 and will continue to be conducted in conjunction with Jim Prairie, Upper Colorado Region, stationed at CADSWES, Boulder, CO., and will consist of the following effort: 1. Continue development of space-time streamflow simulation tool for the entire basin. 2. Continue development of space-time streamflow simulation tool incorporating paleo reconstructions. 3. Develop streamflow scenarios in the entire basin conditioned on paleo reconstructions. 4. Evaluate the risk/reliability of various management actions on the basin in light of the stochastic sequences. 5. Perform additional analysis as needed based on the feedback from the EIS. 6. Document the R-codes in user-friendly fashion. 7. Document all research in report to Reclamation and for peer-reviewed journal publications. 8. Present the tools/research to Reclamation for application. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is September 20, 2006.
