- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Albuquerque, New Mexico is requesting bids on solicitation number 201816B009 to furnish all materials and effort to construct a wood framed office building (approximately 4,900 sf) and storage building/fire cache (approximately 1,000 sf), including site preparation, concrete foundation, metal roof, sidewalks, interior gypsum board walls and partitions, plumbing fixtures, mechanical, electrical, septic system, and connection to existing utilities. Project includes base bid items and additive bid items. The project is located at San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge, at the northeast corner of the intersection of County Road 316 and State Road 2611, in Brazoria County, Texas. The estimated price magnitude is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The total performance period is expected to be 300 calendar days or less. Bid evaluation and award will be on firm fixed price, low bid, responsive and responsible contractor. In accordance to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988, Public Law 100-656, this project is solicited unrestricted full and open competition. This project is not set aside; it is open to all interested companies. The NAICS Code for this project is 236220. The Solicitation package will be available for downloading on or about September 22, 2006 and will close October 22, 2006.
