- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334417, 500 employee size standard. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure 1300 (qty) Spark Gaps (gas discharge tube model) (P/N MLH-1200L) manufactured by Teledyne Reynolds, Inc; 3070 Skyway Drive, Bldg. 301, Santa Maria, CA 93455. The Teledyne Reynolds manufactured Spark Gaps are needed as the Gaps are currently used in the needed system design and using a different model or manufacturer of gas discharge tube would require significant testing, verification, and validation of the system design. All items need to be delivered, inspected, and accepted FOB DESTINATION to the NSWCDD. Provide an estimated delivery date on the quote. (How many days? Weeks?, Etc.) The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order. Award is to be made under Simplified Procedures (FAR 13) by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The closing date for receipt of quotations is 2:00 pm on 15 September 2006. Offers may be submitted via e-mail in Microsoft Word format to DLGR_NSWC_XDS13@navy.mil or via facsimile at (540) 653-6810, Attn: XDS13-8. Reference Request for Quotation Number N00178-06-Q-3062 on all correspondence. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
