- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO in unavailable. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, NSWCDD, intends to purchase, sole source, to valid vendors of EMC SOFTWARE LICENSES in the following denominations: Line item number one: a quantity of 2 - LIC-002281 part number - NetWorker Power Ed Dedicated Storage Node for Windows; Line item number two: a quantity of 4 LIC-002283 part number - NetWorker Power Ed Dedicated Storage Node for UNIX; Line item number three: a quantity of 6 LIC-002107 part number - NetWorker Dynamic Drive Sharing Option for W2K/WinNT/Unix/Linux; Line item number four: a quantity of 30 CON-008437 part number - Storage Consultant; Line item number five: a quantity of 1 MNT-00001 part number - Priority First Year Maintenance, Software update subscription service (major & minor releases) included with Priority Support; Line item number six: a quantity of 1 MKT-002088 part number - EMC Product Family Media Kit. Contains: NetWorker, NetWorker Modules, NetWorker Recovery Manager, Open File Manager, Snaplmage Module, Snaplmage for Windows, NDMP TapeServer, NetWorker Management Console, NetWorker Operations, NetWorker Administration, AutoStart (aka AAM), AutoStart SE (aka CO-Standby Server AAdvanced), RepliStor; and documentation for these products; BE ADVISED THAT LINE ITEMS 4, 5, AND 6 APPLY ONLY TO LINE ITEMS 1,2, AND 3 ONLY. BE ADVISED THAT LINE ITEMS 7, 8, AND 9 APPLY ONLY TO LINE ITEM 10 ONLY. The additional licenses will be used at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) to support the Integrated Warfare Systems Lab (IWSL) as an existing backup environment already being used at the IWSL. The sole source nature of this procurement is to maintain compatibility; therefore to minimize interruptions to the current infrastructure of the IWSL, these licenses must be an Enterprise product to ensure operational compatibility with the existing IWSL environment. The equipment will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date will be 15 September 2006 with an anticipated award date of 20th September, 2006. The NAICS Code associated with this procurement is 334419. All items quoted, must be inclusive of shipping and handling fees. Quotes must include a valid DUNS and CAGE Code. All items will be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, Virginia. Delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order unless noted on quote a different anticipated delivery time. All warranty and discount information shall be clearly identified in the quote. This acquisition will occur via a Firm Fixed-Price contract. All items shall be delivered and accepted FOB Destination to the Receiving Officer ? Bldg 125, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays. No del iveries will be accepted on Federal holidays. The GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. IF QUOTING GSA SCHEDULE, ALL QUOTES MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION TO INCLUDE SHEDULE AND PAGE NUMBERS OF ITEMS QUOTED. WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION, THE GOVERNMENT MAY NOT CONSIDER YOUR QUOTE.
