- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, the test program outlined in FAR subpart 13.6, as well as supplemental information provided herein. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The award will be made to the lowest price, responsive, responsible offeror. The requirement is for the purchase of server support equipment for the Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, GA. The equipment consists of 37 each 3COM Gigabit Server NIC, 11 each IBM 73GB HDD, 14 each IBM 4GB Dual Rank Kit(Chipkill), 5 each Tripplite PS/2 Slim cable kit, 20 each DSRIQ-PS2 module cables, 3 each TrippLite NetDirector 1U rackmount console, 3 each Advocent DSR8020 KVM switch, 7 each IBM 1585 printers w/cable, 7 each IBM 1585 duplex, 7 each IBM 1585 2000 sheet high cap feeder, 24 each HP 300GB HD Ultra 320 SCSI Poweredge/Powervault, 7 each APC 24 outlet switch rack, 1 box of 50 Sony AIT3 backup tapes, 1 each HP Smart Array P600 controller, 10 each Dell 2GB module for PowerEdge 6600 system, 2 each HP 146GB 10K U320 pluggable HD and 1 each Scalar I500 backup unit for service net .
