Justification for brand name: previously purchased special equipment must be directly transferable to this unit; this unit has displaced traditional drilling methods as the preferred mode of collecting subsurface samples; unit must fold compactly and be able to fit in van/truck; unit must be able to retrieve geotechnical data via cone penetration testing methods.
