- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for DOD Public Key Infrastructure Operations and Sustainment. Efforts within this Statement of Work (SOW) include but are not limited to testing, installation, and maintenance to meet the requirements of the DoD PKI Operational Requirements Document. The Contractor shall provide necessary qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities for the execution of assigned test and evaluation activities to include programming, certification/accreditation, installation, and related technical support for response to problems reported by users and in support of program requirements as established by the Program Management Office (PMO). In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19 Subpart 8, the Government intends for this acquisition to be offered for competition limited to 8(a) concerns. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for 8(a) Program participants on the Small Business Administration (SBA) list of Qualified 8(a) Small Business Concerns. The period of performance will start on 1 Dec 2006 for one year with 3 one-year option periods. The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541512. All responsible and eligible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. The solicitation and all related documents will be issued electronically and posted on the DITCO Home Page, Contracting Opportunities at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop/public/asp/dcop.asp and fedbizops.com on approximately 9 Oct 2006. Vendors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and all related documents to include amendments to the solicitation and these downloaded documents must be referenced in the proposal. Proposals shall be submitted electronically via upload onto the contracting opportunities website. Prior to submitting proposals, Offerors shall register with DITCO via its Contracting Opportunities web site at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop. Vendors must register a minimum of one week prior to uploading a proposal to ensure the proposal upload is accomplished by the closing date and time. Vendors should also attempt to upload their proposal as early as possible to ensure no problems arise at the last minute.
