- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under requisition number 100158. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. The U.S. Secret Service intends to purchase Brand Name equipment manufactured by Redline Communications as follows: (1) each Point-to-Multipoint Base (AN-50e) Broadband Wireless System indoor unit 5.8Ghz Sector Controller ; and (3) each Point-to-Multipoint Base (AN-50e) indoor subscriber unit. In addition, the unit shall at least meet the following requirements: 1.EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS: System Capability: LOS, optical-LOS, and the ability to operate in some non-LOS conditions (OFDM).
