- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition is being conducted using the procedures in FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/reference number is F3Z3516223A400; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12 and Defense DCN 20060814. This acquisition is unrestricted; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220. The business size standard is 750 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5835. Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order to Motorola Inc for the following items, all or none: Item 0001: Qty 15 EA, Portable ASTRO Digital XTS-5000 Radio PN: H18QDH9PW7. Item 0002: Qty 15 EA, Software, ASTRO Digital PN: Q806. Item 0003: Qty 15 EA, Smartnet System Software PN: H37. Item 0004: Qty 15 EA, XTS-5000 UCM Hardware Encryption PN: Q159. Item 0005: Qty 15 EA, AES Encryption PN: Q629. Item 0006: Qty 15 EA, Submersible Capability PN: H499. Item 0007: Qty 15 EA, Antenna, Helical H125 ENH, 2 Year encrypted Express PN: Q58. Item 0008: Qty 15 EA, MDC and ASTRO P25 OTAR with Multikey PN: A498. This acqusition is in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) sole source acquisitions.
