Description

The BLM has a requirement for the rental of two bull dozers that will be used to pull a large chain over the treatment area to incorporate seed and break up burned debris. The bull dozers will be operated by BLM personnel. Rental includes transporting the machines to the project site and picking them up at the conclusion of the project. Specifications: 2 bull dozers 1. 310 minimum horsepower 2. Ripper frame without shanks and with a pin 3. Full cab with roll over protection, heating and air conditioning 4. Engine covers (preferable) Timeframe: Delivered October 25, 2006; duration of rental approzimately 6 weeks. This requirement is set aside for Small Business. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may print the bid documents to submit their bid by mail, or bids may be submitted electronically. Facsimile bids will be accepted. Fax No. is 303/239-3699. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 09/19/06.
