Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award Blanket Purchase Agreements to Nevada Conservation Corps, Reno, NV; Student Conservation Corps, Oakland, CA; SW Conservation Corps, Tucson, AZ; Coconino Rural Environment Corps, Flagstaff, AZ; and Utah Conservation Corps, Logan, UT, for support of the implementation of the LCR MSCP. Reclamation will have an ongoing need for a labor pool to assist in various tasks related to habitat restoration. Because specific projects are not yet identified, it is unknown exactly how often this labor pool will be required, what tasks will be needed for each project, and how many individuals will be needed per task. The purpose of this contract is to establish a labor pool that can be deployed quickly when the need arises to restoration sites and/or plant collection sites where work is to be conducted without the encumbrances of issuing several separate contracts each time labor is required. Reclamation intends to limit award to multiple, non-profit conservation service organizations. Any other organizations that meet these requirements are encouraged to submit information regarding their experience and capabilities to meet the Bureau of Reclamation's requirements. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is on or about October 10, 2006.
