Description
PR 10185437. The Contracts Department at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, California, has a requirement to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis from PEP Modular Computers, located 750 Holiday Drive, Pittsburgh, PA, 31 each, VMPI-E2 CPU Circuit Cards, 3U VMEbus CPU with MPC8240/250MHz 4HP 64MB SDRAM with ECC, 8MB Flash, free DIL-Socket, 2 RS232 + Fast Ethernet at front panel with boot loader (OS independent), OS integration separately, 8 HP PCI expansion (e.g. PMC) separately; extended temperature -40 deg C to +85 deg c, the basic part number (P/N) is 221739; each is to include the following options: FLD-16-E2 16Mbyte Flash Disk Chip for 32-pin DIP Built-In Flash File System, uses 8Kbyte to address window, boot capacity, ECC/EDC, operating temp -40 +85 deg C, P/N 19650; KIT-VMP1 Conformal Coating P/N 4487; Conformal Logistics P/N 4486; Documentation/driver kit for VMP1, users manual in PDF format, floppy disk 3.5, P/N 20615; KIT-FLD Documentation/driver kit for FLD Flash Disk on Chip components from M-Systems, users manual in PDF format, utility for setup, floppy disk 3.5, 18913. The CPU Circuit Cards provide the control of the AN/ULQ-21 Technique Modulator, military threat simulators. Due to proprietary design, PEP Modular Computers is the only source capable of providing CPU Circuit Cards that have been integrated into the AN/ULQ-21 Technique Modulator. Additionally, vendor is responsible for completing and returning 52.212-3 Alt I Representations and Certifications. A written solicitation will not be issued, however any firms believing they can provide these particular cards may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 05 September 06, clearly showing the firm's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the Government.
