- Description
- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Pacific/Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DoDDS-P/DDESS-Guam) intends to procure Automated Vehicle Locator (AVL) Systems to include on-site installation, a three-year warranty, and communication services needed to support the systems on a competitive firm fixed price basis. The anticipated type of contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements, with authorization to issue Delivery Orders for the supplies/services. Delivery and installation shall be F.O.B. Destination to sites in Korea, mainland Japan, and Okinawa, Japan 30 days from effective date of each delivery order. The estimated quantities for the AVL systems will be approximately 266 units over a two-year base period of performance with three one-year options to continue communication services, if applicable. Detailed AVL System Requirements and Specifications are included in the Request for Proposal number HE1260-06-R-7000 posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website. The Request for Proposal will close 30 days from the solicitation issue date. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. The Department of Defense requires all United States contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources submitting a proposal shall be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the Request for Proposal.
