- This is a Notice of Intent to Award a sole source firm fixed-priced contract to Rohm and Haas Company, Philadelphia, PA for the purchase of 28,000 pounds of Ambersorb 348F, an ion exchange resin. Reference: Request for Proposal W52H09-06-R-0542. Ambersorb 348F is a proprietary component of the Rohm and Haas Company, Philadelphia, PA. This acquisition is DOA5 rated. Justification: Supplies or Services required are available from only one source or a limited number of responsible sources under t he authority of FAR 6.302-1. This Notice of Intent is published for subcontracting purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement is solely with the discretion of the Government. A competitive TDP does not exist. There are no NSNs or drawings. Note 22 is applicable.
