SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: F2XHC36244A200 INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATIONS AND TEAMBUILDING TRAINING COURSE THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ANNOUNCEMENT; A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The Government is seeking, qualified, experienced sources interested in producing the commodity identified in the attached Specification Requirements. Therefore, the Government is requesting that interested concerns furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc. under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 611430 which contains a size standard $6.5 million. (3) Provide no more than 2 references for no more than three (3) of the most recent and relevant contracts performed within the last three (3) years. Include name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address of references. Also, provide a brief description of the training course provided, contract number and total contract value. Contracts must be same or similar to the work described in the Scope of Work. E-mail responses to this request for information are preferred, and should be sent to:jacqueline.tellis@maxwell.af.mil. The due date and time for responses to this synopsis is COB Central Standard Time on 18 Sep 2006. Attachment: Scope of Work For Intercultural Communications and Teambuilding Training Course The instructor(s) will teach an Intercultural Communications and Teambuilding Executive Training Workshop at Air War College during the week of 16-18 Oct 06. Specifically, the instructor(s) will provide basic intercultural communications training including but not limited to sensitivity to hierarchy and religion, national values and practices, language issues and time differences. The instructor(s) will provide basic teambuilding training built upon the skills developed through the intercultural communications training sessions. Instructor(s) is responsible for course preparation, providing teaching materials and classroom execution. Instructor(s) will: Deliver lectures and training in intercultural communications, Direct discussions, Direct experiential teambuilding training. Training programs should be well founded in the theoretical literature of the discipline and should provide students with models for understanding intercultural communications and teambuilding, providing useful tools for AWC students. Program should include a country and/or regional focus in order to provide realistic application illustrations. The contractor(s) will be reimbursed for reasonable travel costs (air fare and incidentals) to Maxwell AFB from his place of residence and for his return travel back to his place of residence. The contractor shall submit invoices via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) within 30 days of the completion of travel.
