Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Realty, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with Layton Geo-Scientific Inc. DBA TerraGo Technologies in Atlanta, Georgia, for document conversion of land tract records. This action is under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. This requirement is for document conversion of land tract records which consist of scanning document images and converting them into electronic digital data, then transferring documents into a new format, and media for use in a document imaging, retrieval and storage system. It is the Government's belief that this requirement can only be met by TerraGo Technologies. TerraGo Technologies has the unique capabilities to meet the agency needs from scanning to map link. TerraGo has developed new software that will convert existing map files to user friendly PDF files that will enable the user to view layers within the file, link to GPS and move between coordinate systems. This system will allow users to view all layers without altering the parent map file. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A FORMAL SOLICITATION OF OFFERS.
