- This is a sources sought notification for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (PHD NSWC). It is the mission of PHD NSWC to Integrate, Test, Evaluate and Provide Life Cycle Engineering and Logistics for Today?s and Tomorrow?s Surface Warfare Systems, Enabling the Warfighter to Defend Our Homeland, Fight Major Combat Operations and Win the Global War on Terror. Looking towards the future, PHD NSWC is seeking technologies, capabilities and process improvements that can support Surface Warfare Systems now and into the future. These products and services need to be aligned with one of the following specific thrust vectors: Improvement: Examples may include Self Correcting Systems, Remote Integrated Teams, and any other areas that will support fleet improvement life cycle operations. Readiness: Examples may include Virtual Logistics, Advanced Distance Assist, Automated Prognostics, and any other areas that will support fleet readiness life cycle operations. Human Systems Integration: Examples may include Predictive Readiness, Virtual Replication, and any other areas that will support fleet human systems integration operations. Test and Evaluation: Examples may include Advanced Test & Evaluation, Virtual Test, and any other areas that will support test and evaluation operations. Specifically, identify technologies, processes and procedures that your company can support in anyone of the items listed above and identify any existing contracts in relation to the items above. Interested parties can respond with up to a five (5) page capability statement describing the technologies, capabilities and/or process improvement your company can provide.
