- The proposed contract is anticipated to be sole source to General Electric. The Government does not own the data, and cannot give instructions for obtaining further information. NSN: 2840-01-501-7683PR, Part Number: 1865M66P01. Noun: Disk, Turbine Aircraft. Item Description: Disk retains the HPT Rotor Blades, which take expanding gases and turn it into power. Dimensions are 24” overall diameter x 4” width x 3.75” bore. Destination: FB2039. Quantity: The current BEQ is 247 ea, but the actual quantity will be determined at time of award. Required Delivery: Jan 2008. Manufacturer: General Electric. Approved Sources: General Electric. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be thirty (30) days after issue. The anticipated award date will be sixty (60) days after solicitation closes. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. The solicitation must be printed from FedBizOps by the contractor. This office will not mail solicitations. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
