Description

It is the Government's intent to award a sole source purchase order to Dictaphone Corporation a Division of Nuance for an annual maintenance contract. The maintenance will include a Dictaphone computer server, software, voice port cards, 30 transcription telephone units, remote dial in access support, and systems administration support as required to maintain functionality. The period of performance will be from 01 Oct 2006 through 30 September 2007. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Offerors still wishing to receive information pertaining to this requirement must contact the points of contacts below prior to 2:00 PM E.S.T, 22 Sept 2006. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Dictaphone Corporation may be pursued. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. All contractors submitting any proposal to the Government must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost. The 316th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract five (5) business days after publication of this notice. The Contracting POC is Capt Tanika L.
