- The below information concerns questions and answers to this solicitation: QUESTION: Is the item you are seeking the Sonosite System or the probes? ANSWER: Currently, the requirement is for ten probes, Sonosite C-60 Convex Abdominal Probe, Part Number P02115. QUESTION: Is a responsible company allowed to submit a quote for the name brand equal to ? ANSWER: Yes. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the Offeror as identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locat ing or obtaining information not identified in the offer. Unless the Offeror indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an equal product, the Offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. Probes must be comp atible with the Sonosite System.
