- The below information is a set of questions and answers: QUESTION: Is the item you are seeking Kerr Product #30890? ANSWER: Yes. The item is the Kerr Herculite XRV Unidose Kit, Part Number 30890. QUESTION: Is a responsible company allowed two submit two quotes; one quote for the name brand and one quote for the equal to ? ANSWER: No. Only one quote. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the Offeror as identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not respo nsible for locating or obtaining information not identified in the offer. Unless the Offeror indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an equal product, the Offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-SEP-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
