- The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with Beckman Coulter, Inc. 4300 N. Harbor Blvd. Fullerton, CA 92834-3100. This BOS announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Request for Quotation is RFQ-600-766-06IM. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 and the Small Business Standard is $11M. This is a sole source action with Beckman Coulter, Inc. The Contractor shall establish a service contract for the following Government owned equipment, Beckman Coulter Analyzer Model #GENS, S/N 0AB36355, ID #33445 EE# 48961, PMI# 6630-0593 and Beckman Coulter Analyzer Model #GENS, S/N 0AB36352, ID #33444 EE# 48962, PMI# 6630-0594. Required to maintain medical equipment to proper operating condition in accordance with JCAHO and VA Regulations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
