- The following Veteran Administration Medical Centers (VAMC) in VISN 9 are seeking sources that can provide blood and blood products certified for human use for the period 10-01-06 thru 09/30/07: VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System includes both the Nashville, TN campus and the Murfreesboro, TN campus; VAMC Louisville, KY; James H. Quillen VAMC, Mtn. Home (Johnson City) TN; and the VAMC Huntington, WV. All sources should be able to deliver blood and blood products on a routine schedule and also an emergency basis of 24 hours and in some instances one hour or less. This Presolicitation Notice was sent originally Wednesday, July 26, 2006 7:45 AM as VA-249-06-RP-0008 and is being resubmitted as VA-249-06-RQ-0036. Responsible sources interested in this procurement shall submit on their company letterhead a statement which contains clear and convincing information identifying their capabilities regarding any and all of the VAMCs in which they can supply blood and blood products in the time frame noted above. All potential sources are requested to notify this office in writing no later than August 20, 2006 at the following address: VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, VISN 9 Acq. Svc. Ctr.
