- This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The Government intends to use Part 12 to buy these commercial services. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry web pag e (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and to the Fort Rucker Directorate of Contracting web page (http://www.rucker.army.mil/). No paper copies of this solicitation or any amendments will be issued. A solicitation mailing list will not be established si nce electronic commerce methods will be utilized. The solicitation is planned for issue on or around September 18, 2006, and proposals are to be due on September 26, 2006; these dates are subject to change. The basis for award will be best overall value. The period of performance will be for October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007, with two one-year option periods.
