- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12 effective 04 Aug 2006 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, current to DCN 20060908. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit C ard. The North American Industry Classification System, NAICS, is 325188 with size standard of 1,000 employees. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.ccr.d lis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html REQUIREMENT: The quote shall consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Unit of Issue - Pounds; Quantity - 131,250; Description - Huberite #7. The product is to be packaged in 50 Lb bags. All prices quoted shall be Fob Destination pricing (i.e. inclusive of shipping). All quotes shall be clearly marked with solicitation number W9124R-06-T-0088 and e-mailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma,army.mil or faxed to 928-328-6849 no later than Close of Business Mountain Standar d Time MST 5:00 P.M. 25 September 2006. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or information as required by 52.212-1 and 52.212-3 cited below, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on acceptability and price.
