- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item(s) prepared in accordance with FAR12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The United States Army Medical Research and Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), Ft D etrick, MD intends to set aside for a small business solicitation, W81XWH-06-T-0526 for the following brand name, Pacific Consolidated Industries medical supplies and repair parts: Reducer Gear Motor, #582378-001, quantity 6; Valve 4 Way Motorized, #58248 1-001, quantity 4; Sheave 5V 3 Groove 4.65 Diameter, #582320-003, quantity 3; Expeditionary Deployable Oxygen Concentration System (edocs) 120, #582225-002, quantity 1, Motor Electric for edocs 120, #582379-001, quantity 3. These products are being ordered for the U.S. Medical Material Center in Europe. Many of these items are destined for units supporting Iraq and Afghanistan theaters. Resulting contract will be a one time award for the listed products. The Solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112. The following Provisions and Clauses are incorporated and shall remain in full force in any res ulting purchase order: FAR Part 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 EvaluationCommercial Items . Price will be evaluated by the following criteria which are listed in relative order of importance. (1) Technical acceptabili ty; and (2) price. Technical acceptability is the ability of the quoter to provide the brand name products requested in the list of required items. Delivery schedule quoted by vendors should provide the best delivery time that can realistically be met, bu t no later than 30 days after receipt of order. The 30 days is the latest time the items can reach the Medical Air Bridge at Hanover, MD. Many of these items are destined for medical units in Iraq and Afghanistan.
