Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a sole source non-competitive procurement to the University of South Dakota, Department of Environment and Natural Resources for sampling of mineral resources as part of the on-going geochemical program with the USGS. The University of South Dakota, Department of Environment and Natural Resources has geologic staff with unique knowledge, throughout the State, of South Dakota's glacial sediment, aggregate, and coal geochemical sampling protocols. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. The anticipated award date is 09/22/2006, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code is 541990. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
