- The US Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) in November 2006 for a five year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to support training conducted by 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) in the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC). The resultant contract will provide personnel to support the Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS); Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) for 18E; Unconventional Warfare (UW) training and the Culmination Exercise (CULEX). Specific requirements consist of but are not limited to: Communications Support, Role Players, Guerilla Chiefs, Opposing Forces, and Observers and Controllers. Many of the roles will require personnel with highly specialized training and Special Forces qualifications. Anticipated solicitation release date is 1 November 2006.
