The routine maintenance of the laboratory including ordering of supplies, maintenance of equipment and organization of t he daily activities. Teaching post and pre-doctoral graduat e students routine techniques used in the immunogenetics lab oratory as well as the proper and efficient handling of the instruments. Teaching ordering and other routine activities related to their work for which eventually the fellows will be responsible for their own projects. Become proficient i n functional genomics, array, printing, DNA, RNA amplificati on and hybridization techniques. Develop expertise in autom ated sequencing and application of chip technology to other molecular genetics fields such as pathogen detection, micro- RNA expression analysis, etc. Participate in primary resear ch activities of the laboratory in which the principal inves tigator or the Senior Staff (Staff Scientists) will be prima rily involved.
