Description

The U.S. Secret Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Harris Corporation, P.O. Box 9800, M/S R5-11A, Melbourne, Florida 32902-9800. The specific need is for the following items: 1.) (5 ea) Kingfish CDMA; 2.) (5 ea) Amber Jack-X-DF Antenna (Fwd & Rev DF); 3.) (5 ea) PCC Stingray/Kingfish CDMA; 4.) (5 ea) PCC Stingray/Kingfish GSM w/o Laptop; Kit; 5). (5 ea) GSM// S/W for Kingfish; 6.) (5 ea) KF Pocket Ctlr GSM S/W Only; and 7.) (5 ea) Power Amp Kit-10 Watt. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 Circumstances permitting other than full and open competition. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Any inquires must include a full capability statement and must be received not later than three (3) days after publication of this synopsis. The Government anticipates an award date on or about September 22, 2006.The Government will not be responsible for any costs in preparation of responses to this announcement.
