Description

Nellis AFB, Las Vegas NV, requires a service contract for Motorcycle Safety Courses IAW Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). Services include two types of training for (1) a MSF Basic Motorcycle Course (BRC) for inexperienced riders and (2) a MSF Experience Motorcycle Courses (ERC) for experienced riders as identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The base period of performance will be 1 October 2006 thru 30 September 2007, with four additional 12-month option periods. This is a firm fixed price type contract and is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The requirement is a commercial service and will be solicited and evaluated under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611692 and the small business size standard is $6.5M. The solicitation will be issued on or about 21 Sept 2006 via the Internet. Interested parties may access the Solicitation FA4861-06-R-B008 at www.fedbizopps.gov. Award will be made based on price, past performance, and technical qualifications as required in the PWS with award being made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government.
