Description
This is a solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars (FACs). The NAICS code for the requirement is 423440 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement has one line item. Line item 0001 is for two accordion-style vinyl-laminate ACOUSTIC ROOM PARTITIONS with DELIVERY and INSTALLATION. The two partitions are of two different dimensions. The first partition is approximately 105 inches high by 208 inches in length (105" H x 208" L). This partition goes from wall to beam and floor to ceiling. The second partition is approximately 73 inches high by 208 inches in length (73" H x 208" L). This partition goes from wall to beam and counter-top to ceiling. Final measurements are to be made at time of installation. Partition material shall be of a Field Sound Transmission Class (FSTC) of 21 or better. The partitions will be used to separate a classroom from a break room. The track should be heavy-duty aluminum with recess for fin-seal. Ceiling guard should be a wide hardwood molding, to provide surface for top vinyl sweep strips to seal top perimeter of door. Wheels shall be nylon wheels on steel axles with ball bearing rollers. The lead post shall be heavy-duty aluminum with interlocking jamb molding supplied for positive door alignment. The latch shall be thumb-turned two-sided with dead-latch. This item is being procured and will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR subpart 13.
